Kansas Courts Divine Wrath?

A brief interlude before we resume our regularly scheduled programming…. In a strange twist, Kansas has voted, by a relatively overwhelming margin of 59-41%, give or take, to uphold legal abortion within its boundaries.

I have wondered in the past if the judgement we deserve as a nation for the blood of tens of millions of innocent children might not be somewhat mitigated by the fact that the American people had never chosen the culture of death; rather it had been foisted upon us by seven black-robed lunatic priests of Moloch in an act of judicial tyranny. Of course no such excuse or mitigation now exists, and what was once forced by the tyrant is now freely embraced by the people of Kansas.

The vote itself was curious. Republicans hold supermajorities in both houses of the state legislature, both U.S. Senators from Kansas are Republicans, and three of the four members of Kansas’ delegation to the U.S. House of Representatives are Republicans. Oddly enough, however, their governor is a lunatic liberal Democrat. Finally, President Trump trounced Joe Biden in the 2020 election in Kansas. So how does a heavily Republican state that went +14 for Trump two years ago, now go +18 for abortion? Well, apparently it’s not tampering, no one is disputing the accuracy of the election results.

For that matter, voters who self-identify as “conservative” make up the largest voting block in the state, a large majority of voters identify as Christian, and the largest denominations represented are Catholics and Baptists, neither of which is especially fond of abortion, at least historically speaking.

So how did this happen? I honestly do not know. What I do know is that the people of Kansas, who by every right should know better, made a conscious decision to freely embrace and enshrine infanticide in their state. They have sown the wind, and brother the whirlwinds come large and loud on that flatland. Toto’s in for one wild ride.

    Sad Jayhawk noises.

I’ve seen a photo someone took of the ballot. The question is VERY confusing in its wording. Likely on purpose. I smell a rat.
