January 24, 2016: William Asa Hutchinson, son of then Governor of Arkansas Asa Hutchinson, arrested for DWI and careless driving. Judge throws out conviction due to clerical error on ticket.

May 2016: William Asa Hutchinson III, son of then Governor Asa Hutchinson of Arkansas arrested for possession of two capsules and four tablets MDMA/ecstasy/Molly. Sent to diversionary program. Diversionary program contingent on no further criminal convictions.

May 28, 2018: William Asa Hutchinson III, son of then Governor Asa Hutchinson of Arkansas arrested for DWI and speeding.

May 18, 2019: William Asa Hutchinson III, son of then Governor Asa Hutchinson of Arkansas arrested for DWI.

November 2019: William Asa Hutchinson III, son of then Governor Asa Hutchinson of Arkansas, accompanies his father and other businessmen on trade mission to China. Both Hutchinsons insist the younger Hutchinson’s invitation has nothing to do with his father being governor. China generally has a policy of not allowing entry to anyone convicted of a crime; this is nearly absolute for drug crimes. Hutchinson III working to secure non-immigrant visas for Chinese workers.

1/13/23 : William Asa Hutchinson III arrested for DWI, possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) and simultaneous possession of drugs and a firearm (Glock 43 9mm).

1/26/23: Hutchinson’s law license suspended by Arkansas Supreme Court.

2/3/23: Jeremy Hutchinson, nephew of former Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson, sentenced to 46 months in federal prison after pleading guilty to accepting bribes.
